Initially established as a research initiative of the South Korea’s Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Secuworks’ intellectual property and patented Sound Field Sensor technology was spun off as a commercial organization and is developing its business internationally.

In the Middle East market and based out of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Secuworks Middle East W.L.L. is handling the business promotion for the company and technology.

As a summary, the Sound Field Sensor technology works through a speaker emitting sound waves within a certain area and this would form a sound field. The sensors pick up and utilize pattern analysis of the sound field changes to detect any changed by in movement and temperature and this is where the intrusion and fire detection is made.
